Rodney Duckett is a motivational speaker and community advocate who works with under-served populations by providing direction, education, and orientation in an uncertain world. Following his calling, Rodney believes that the voiceless, disadvantaged populations deserve to be heard. He works as a mouthpiece for urban youth, speaking from the heart of the community.
With the distinct ability to encourage and empower individuals, Rodney has helped countless people move beyond past prejudices, let go of negative thinking, and take on new, exciting challenges. Whether he is speaking about mental health, setting goals, gangs, or the black community, his audience always walks away feeling refreshed and strengthened with actionable strategies for positive change. Utilizing his charisma, passion, and knowledge, Rodney has shared his expertise with thousands of those in underserved populations from at-risk youth to disabled veterans.
Rodney started his career as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army where he was awarded with numerous accommodation and achievement medals. He later became a paramedic and eventually a Registered Nurse. Rodney is currently pursuing his Doctor of Nursing degree from the University of Incarnate Word and hopes to establish multiple living centers serving veterans and youth. Within the community, Rodney produces and leads a youth awareness TV show, @iYouth. Rodney also founded IMPAC, a non-profit which assists at-risk communities through programming and advocacy.
